The Building Department is inclusive of Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Divisions and works hand-in-hand with the Planning and Zoning Department. Primary responsibilities include processing applications, permits and scheduling inspections.  Land use applications are also filed with the Building Department. Staff is available to answer any of your questions regarding building in the City of Star.
