Event Description:
The City of Star’s Hometown Parade is one of the biggest draws of the July 4th celebration, and we want your group or business to be part of it. The parade begins at 10:00 AM, but check in for all participants begins at 9:00 AM. Head to the El Mariachi Loco parking lot to receive your official entry number. After checking in, entries will head to their designated lineup locations.
Floats will be directed to Seneca Springs Way, cars and golf carts to Estrella Plaza (“Toon Town”), and horse entries will stage at the Les Schwab lot. Please note that N Seneca Springs Way will close at 9:00 AM to accommodate check-in traffic and only authorized entries will be permitted access.
Safety remains our top priority. While walkers may distribute candy or promotional items by hand, nothing may be thrown from floats or vehicles. Additionally, we strongly discourage the use of items like bouncy balls or items that could roll or bounce into the street, tempting children to run into traffic. Any giveaways must be managed carefully by accompanying walkers.
We are also limiting car clubs and vehicle groups to no more than 30 vehicles per group to ensure the parade does not go over on time.
