Veterans Banner Project

The Parks, Art & Beautification Committee is sponsoring the Veterans Banner Project. Honor the hero in your life by purchasing a banner for a veteran, KIA/POW/MIA hero, or active duty service member. Banners will be displayed on State Street light posts in Star between September 23rd and November 15th of each year. At the end of the display period, you can keep your banner or renew to have it displayed again the following year for $25. A portion of the profit will go to Operation Grateful Hearts, a volunteer run 501(c)(3) that provides aid to military families in the Treasure Valley (operationgratefulhearts.us).

Banners measure 18" x 45", are printed in full color, and double sided. Banners include name, branch, rank, and a head shot. Photos submitted must be high resolution. Proof of military status required; DD214 for veterans and KIA/POW/MIA, or copy of Military ID (Common Access Card or CAC) for active duty service members. Banners are $100 each. Complete one form per banner.
