Event Description:
To ensure a safe, welcoming, and crowd-friendly environment, the City of Star has implemented several important safety measures for this year's July 4th Hometown Celebration.

Both parking lots at Hunters Creek Park will be closed all day on July 4. One lot is within the fireworks launch zone, and the other will be used for food vendors, emergency vehicles, ADA parking, and additional restrooms. A free Hop-On Hop-Off shuttle will serve multiple stops across the city to make attending convenient and accessible for everyone.

Pets are not allowed. The fireworks display includes loud, ground-shaking firebomb effects that are highly distressing to animals. For their safety and the safety of others, pets must be left at home and properly secured.

Pop-up tents and chairs are welcome during the day, but please remove them before the fireworks begin so everyone can enjoy an unobstructed view. Use the trash cans provided throughout the park to help keep things clean.

Absolutely no smoking or personal fireworks of any kind are allowed in the park. This includes sparklers, firecrackers, or anything else that burns or explodes.

The fireworks drop zone will be clearly marked with blue barricades and signage. For your safety, do not enter this area. Anyone caught inside the drop zone will be trespassed from the park.
