Essential Details:
• Date & Time: July 4th check in at 7:00 AM; race start at 8:00 AM (check-in includes shirt pick up)
• Location: Freedom Park
• Distance: 5K (3 laps around the course)
• Entry Fee: $15 (includes t-shirt)
• Registration Deadline for Shirt: June 17
• Costumes: Patriotic attire encouraged – Mayor Chadwick will select his favorites
• Relay Option: Teams of 3 welcome (each person must register individually)
Event Description:
The Firecracker Fun Run returns with a new home at Freedom Park and the same awesome start to Star's Independence Day. The 5K course winds through the park in three full laps, open to both walkers and runners.
You can register as an individual or as a 3-person relay team, with each participant required to complete their own registration. The $15 entry fee includes a limited-edition Fun Run t-shirt, guaranteed for anyone who registers by June 17.
Make sure to show up in your most patriotic gear—Mayor Chadwick will be choosing his favorite looks before the starting horn. This is your moment to stand out and start the day with some Star-spangled spirit.
