Get ready for an AWESOME day of fishing, food, and family fun! This Saturday is Free Fishing Day in Idaho, which means NO LICENSE REQUIRED to fish. This event is designed to encourage positive interactions between kids and officers, teach fishing skills, and foster an appreciation for outdoor activities.

IMPORTANT:
From 10AM to 1PM, the West Pond is FISHING ONLY –
No swimming
No paddle boarding
No kayaking
We’ve stocked the pond with BIG, BEAUTIFUL TROPHY FISH just waiting to be caught!

This is a great chance for kids to learn how to fish—Star Police officers will be on site helping kids cast lines and catch memories!
Star Rec will have a limited number of loaner poles available
FREE bait included!

Every child under 18 who attends gets a RAFFLE TICKET for a chance to win:
A fishing pole & tackle box (donated by Bi-Mart)
A Scheels gift card
10 WINNERS will be drawn at 12:45 PM (no need to be present to win—just include a phone number on the ticket!)
