Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee is a volunteer committee tasked with the following:
- Beautification service and clean up projects in city parks and other areas.
- Encourage intergovernmental and private sector relationships and initiatives for beautification.
- Manage the City Hall Art Exhibit program.
- Facilitate the Make Star Shine Fall and Spring projects.
- Manage the State Street and Beacon Light Adopt-A-Hwy clean-up sections twice a year.
- Manage the Light Up Star Holiday Light Contest.
