Freedom Park

Freedom Park is just north of the Boise River, south of Heron River and directly east and adjacent to the Star Riverhouse.  When completed this will connect with the Star Riverwalk and Riverhouse making it one of the largest recreational areas in the city at just over 82 acres.  The area features natural landscapes, two large ponds stocked with fish.  The west pond includes a floating dock, affectionately known as Dockzilla, and shade structure allowing easy access for kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy the water.   For a full list of park rules, click the link below.  NOTE:  Improvements are still being made to the park. Picnic tables, benches, bathroom and designated BBQs are coming soon!

The three shade structures at the north corner of the west pond are available on a first come-first serve basis and cannot be reserved at this time.
