Pavilion Park includes a splash pad, pickleball and basketball courts, enclosed dog park, restrooms, and an adaptive playground for kids of all abilities.

Hosting a Party or Gathering

You're welcome to host a party or gathering at Pavilion Park; however, please note:

• The splash pad, playground, and pickleball courts cannot be reserved and must remain open to the public at all times.
• The grassy areas of the park are frequently used by the City of Star Recreation Department for league sports and other scheduled programs. These events take priority over private gatherings.  If there are no scheduled recreation activities, the grassy area is available first come, first served.  We do not accept reservations for this park.  Events open to the public, with an expected attendance of more than 100, must complete our Special Events Permit.
• We recommend checking the Pavilion Park Sports Calendar (linked below) before planning your event to avoid conflicts with scheduled city programs.

Park Rules and Facility Limitations

To help preserve and protect Pavilion Park, especially while new grass is being established, please follow these guidelines:

• No bounce houses are allowed on park grounds.
• There is no electricity or water hookups available.
• Pop-up tents are permitted but must be secured using weights only.
• Stakes are not allowed to prevent damage to underground irrigation lines.

Splash Pad Schedule

The splash pad operates seasonally, weather permitting, and is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
